No Day 4. . .
Sadly, my deep run in the Mega Millions tournament ended last night at 7:30 with a 27th place finish. Although finishing 27th out of over 6,100 entries is an accomplishment in itself, I was after the BIG money– the money that starts around 5th place. But, alas, it will have to wait for another tournament. I took home over $7,000, so I’m happy about that, but I want to take down a BIG win sometime–sooner rather than later. Thanks for everybody’s support.
Now for Day THREE! ! !
Well, I made it through day 2 in one piece (barely). Out of the starting field of over 6,000 players, there are now 45 of us left. I am one of the shorter stacks, with just over a million in chips (the average is about double what I’ve got). That part is a bit troublesome as I would have liked to have a lot more. BUT, that’s how it goes. It’s poker. You never know what can happen. At this point, my minimum cash is over $6,000. If I make it through day 3 (tonight), my minimum will jump to over $20,000. Keep your fingers crossed. . .
